I try to be ethical as much as possibly, but no matter how ethical and eco friendly I want to be I do not want to look ethical and eco friendly. This causes a bit of a problem when looking into ethical fashion, the fact is I do not want to look like a hippy, I want ethical clothing that doesn’t look like it is. Partly because I don’t feel the need to shout my eco status from the roof tops and partly, well, it’s just not my style.

Previously in the world of ethical fashion there have been brands like people tree which are great, but they do seem to want to make everyone look like an aspiring earth mother. That’s why when I found this designer I was so pleased. Hopefully as the trend towards ethical fashion pushes further and further there will be more people like Rani Jones, that want to make clothes that leave your conscience clear but do not make me look like I survive on tofu and yoga…
